[He holds up a Shinx, ala Lion King. The Shinx itself doesn't seem to mind, having a bit of a derpy expression on it's face.]

BEHOLD! I PRESENT TO YOU ALL, THE GREAT LUMINARI! ONCE HE'S COMPLETED HIS INITIAL TRAINING, THE VIOLET CITY GYM BADGE WILL BE OURS! THEN! NOTHING WILL BE STOPPING ME FROM COLLECTING THE AZALEA CITY GYM BADGE! AND THEN THE GOLDENROD CITY GYM BADGE! NYEH-HEH-HEH! [Seriously, he likes his coffee about as aggressively blonde as it gets; it's acidic, sure, but it gets close to floral if the place does it right, and this is one of the few places in Violet that does.

...That said, hopefully you aren't planning on buying for him, because he's not particularly here for that - he can handle himself well enough, as far as ordering and working out payment goes, so just...let him do that...]

You know, I wouldn't have taken you for a coffee person, but it's suiting enough now that I think about it.

[You know, he has no idea what they're even going to discuss here, but he's not opposed to it in the least; he did agree to this entire outing in the first place, after all.

He's casual about it when he settles at one of the tables, crossing his legs idly at the knee and toying with the coffee cup a bit after he's set it down; given everything that today has decided to be, this is...actually pretty nice? It's good to just be out without proper obligations - there's still some sense of obligation in this, because interactions with fans generally come with that sort of thing attached, but it's not a strict one and it's more willing than necessary.

Mostly just the little beauties that I can find around Goldenrod; I don't like using Pokéballs any. It seems...strange.

So I don't really keep them; they come and go as they please. I tend to like Rotoms, I think I've mentioned those before. I have a few others that I've come across here and there, though.

THOUGH, IT SEEMS LIKE THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE HERE TREAT THEM AS PARTNERS RATHER THAN ANYTHING ELSE, SO THERE IS THAT SMALL CONDOLENCE!
