NOTHING WILL BE STOPPING ME FROM COLLECTING THE AZALEA CITY GYM BADGE! AND THEN THE GOLDENROD CITY GYM BADGE! NYEH-HEH-HEH! [...Well, you know what, that was a little on the amateurish side but Mettaton can't really say that he disapproves too much, either.

He's not making his presence known in a terribly obvious way, not at first; there are certain qualities that can be activated at a moment's notice, when you're used to it, a presence that can be flipped on as easily as one would a lightswitch, the sort of thing that makes you immediately noticeable in a crowd of people that was utterly ignoring you before, and it's that sort of confidence that he ticks over into and turns on as he approaches. No longer a member of a faceless crowd idly watching the proceedings, more obviously a celebrity greeting someone on the street, and he seems rather comfortable that way.

And really, there's nothing to do right now other than just kind of slow-clap it out for goddamn Luminari over there, who either has the patience of a champion or is entirely too dumb to care, and either way it's not a bad trait to have in a companion.]

I'm sure you'll do great against the gym! Just be careful of Faulkner using 'Roost', it heals and removes his birds' weakness to Electric types for a turn.

[It gets abbreviated like that a lot, but she's never heard anyone actually say it aloud. Especially since it doesn't actually save any time.]

I think Faulkner's most powerful Pokemon was around level 30 or so, so you'll probably want to train your Luminari to something similar!
